Cultural Park is located next to the Turtle Mountain Chippewa Heritage
Center in downtown Belcourt, ND. One of the outstanding features
of the park is this recreated historical arbor, made of poplar and willow.
It is a symbol of our rich Chippewa traditions, and can be used by the
public for outdoor storytelling, or other cultural events. In the
next few years, the park will be improved to include a willow wicker-covered
bridge, a creekside interpretive trail, veterans memorial, and genealogy
brick display. Stop by for a visit...and you can help in our efforts
to compete our improvements by making a tax-deductible donation to the
Heritage Center, or by becoming a contributing member of the Turtle Mountain
Chippewa Historical Society .
